Mr. Finucane is a graduate of Boston College having received his Bachelor of Arts in English, cum laude, and his Juris Doctorate from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law. He is a graduate of the Trial Lawyer’s College, Dubois, Wyoming.
Mr. Finucane is admitted to practice law in the state of New York. He is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Western and Northern Districts of New York, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York and the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Finucane is a member of the Monroe County and New York State Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Finucane is a trial attorney. Mr. Finucane’s practice is dedicated to complex civil litigation, including serious personal injury (auto, truck and motorcycle accidents, slip and fall, medical and dental malpractice), real estate, commercial and business litigation, estate and trust litigation, product liability and federal civil rights cases. In cases that do not necessitate trial, Mr. Finucane is a skilled negotiator who resolves cases through arbitration and mediation. He also practices in the areas of wills and estates, residential and commercial real estate and business formation.
