Ms. Hartzell is a graduate of the University of Rochester, having received her Bachelor of Arts in French and her Juris Doctorate from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law.

Ms. Hartzell is admitted to practice law in the state of New York and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York. Ms. Hartzell is designated to the Attorney for Children Panel in Monroe and Ontario County Family Court, Supreme Court and Surrogates Court by the Fourth Department Appellate Division.

Ms. Hartzell is a member of the Monroe County and New York State Bar Associations and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.

Ms. Hartzell concentrates her practice on matrimonial and family law litigation and negotiation. As a litigator, she regularly advocates for her clients in the courtroom, helping to protect their finances, property, businesses and family relationships. Ms. Hartzell assists families to navigate the complex and often divisive channels of divorce, pre- and post-marital agreements, enforcement actions, and support and child custody issues.
